Daddy Daughter Nite

On "Black Friday" my 2 sisters and I  braved the morning and went shopping at 4 am in Vernal. We don't really go to get the "big ticket" items we just like to go and see how crazy everyone else get. I know that is early to get up and watch other people, but it sure is funny. I also like the time I get to spend with them. We shop and have breakfast together WITH OUT the kids.

Then that nite my dad took his 3 daughters and 2 daughters in law to Vernal to shop for my mom, and to dinner at Wendy's. He usually would take only one to go shop, but this year we were all there and thought it would be fun to take us all. We told him he could go at 4:00am with us, he didn't think that was such a good idea.
Calli my dad and Julia (my little Sister)
Lesa (my big sister) and Cindy
The next day, Jason, Justin and my brother in law Tracy got up at 5:30 am to go goose hunting. (Now thats crazy)
Then later that day we went up to the mountains to get our Christmas tree. There was so much snow up there it was over my knees. My brother Sam found out that the 4 wheel drive does not work in his truck. Fortuntally Tracy had some tire chains.
A passer by stopped and offered to help pull him up the hill. There were so many people up there it was crazy. By the time we got where we wanted to be we all just said " hurry and pick one so we can get out of here" So I didn't a pic of the tree we worked to hard to get.

DECORATING GRANDMA AND GRANDPAS CHRISTMAS TREE.
When we get home grandma likes the kids to come over and decorate her tree for her. The kids like to do this too.

I had such a fun Thanksgiving weekend. Being with family is what its all about.

OUR SOARING EAGLES
At the school where our kids go they have what they call "soaring eagles" Thats an award they get for doing well that trimester, in all subjects. Then they do a activity for the soaring eagles, Justins got to go ice skating, Audree and Shane watched a movie and had a party. If they are a soaring eagle all 3 trimester then they are called a "Sky Dancer" and have a big activity at the end of the year. They have gone to the movie theater before other times they went to Price to the Wave Pool. The school has lots of fun things to get the kids excited about learning and reading.

Justin and the Soaring Eagles in his 5th grade class.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving at the Care Center with my grandma Kettle. She has been there for almost 4 years now, we go have dinner with her every year. Olivia likes to go see her cause grandma gets so excited to see the kids. My brother is also there talking to her.
 Justin, me, and my niece.
My sister and her family came down from Kaysville to have Thanksgiving with us. My little brother and my dad are helping cut up the turkey.
Grandma and some of her great grandkids. I think she has 45 or so.
These are my mom and dad's grand kids. They are all there except for my older sisters 3 kids, they went to her husbands family for dinner. My parents have 19 grand kids. We all have so much fun when we get together. My little sister is the only one that lives far away, 4 out of 5 live in Ballard.
I had to post this pic cause it is so natural of how my kids really are. All I can do is just smile. Unfortunally Jason had to work Thanksgiving day, and could not have dinner with us. Don't worry he had plenty of left overs.

Jason's new big truck. Our "fearless" hunter

Justin shooting the 223. We got some doe tags for the farm, this year Justin is old enough to hunt he has been practicing and is excited to "try" and shoot a deer.

Olivia dosen't the lod noise of the gun so.........

we found some ear plugs for her = )

Grandma Shirley came out for a visit in November, she brought her dog "Mun" Olivia loves to play
with her little dog and walk it on the leash around the house. I don't think Mun likes it as much as Olivia
does.

Jason is getting a new big truck for work. We went down to Richfield to look at it, so Jason could
let his boss know what it needed. Things added to it to make loading oil easier and such.

November 15 was our 14th wedding anniversary. So in a way by going to Richfield together we celebrated
the day that way.  Thanks for 14 great years I love you Jason!
Jason's truck will be the only one that has a body tank on it in this terminal
Justin cooked up his goose that he got hte other day. He stuffed it with potatoes and onions, seasoned the top with salt, pepper, and some other seasoning that he has and put it in the oven while we were at church.
It wasn't too bad he has become quite the good cook, which is good for me.
